We like swimming, dipping and generally dicking about in and by the sea in Brighton and Hove. We tend to go on about how good it is for the soul etc etc and our mission is to get more people enjoying it. Particularly people who have so far faced obstacles to doing so.<\/p>

We have a swim shop - www.seabirsdsswim.com<\/a> that sells swim hats, goggles and neoprene gloves etc, we have swim school - bookwhen.com\/seabirds<\/a> and we have our Tee shop here selling organic hoodies and t-shirts with our designs on.<\/p>

These sales fund free lessons for local asylum seeking women, subsidised spaces for trans and gender non-conforming folk, folk on low income and NHS workers - for example (it keeps evolving and we are open to suggestions). We also have a swimming community - the Salty Seabirds<\/u><\/a> which has over 6000 members now! Thankfully we don\u2019t all come to the beach at once for a dip!<\/p>

You can come and join us for a cuppa and not even get wet, you will still be a Seabird. Expect to be persuaded eventually though! Despite the name (\u2018birds?!) we are for all and every gender and we wish you happy swimming wherever you are. Toasty afterwards in a Seabirds\u2019 hoodie preferably! ;)<\/p>
